Bio: A little about me ... I am a lawyer, investor, entrepreneur and a "wanna be" philanthropist. Right now, I am spending the vast majority of my day (and night) practicing law. I am a partner at Perkins Coie LLP, where I chair firm's our "emerging companies and VC" practice. In this role, I spend my time advising some of the brightest entrepreneurs, start-ups and early stage investors. And, I LOVE IT! In my remaining waking hours I do a bit of angel investing, I teach entrepreneurship at my alma mater, and I help various non-profit organizations prioritize education and learning (including the John Austin Cheley Foundation, where I recently became a Trustee). I have also been known to dabble a bit in entrepreneurship (with my most recently completed project -- co-founding Titan Aerospace in Feb 2012 which Google acquired this past Spring).
